Digital Glass Plate Works

Corrupted series examines the impermanence of knowledge, highlighting
the loss of knowledge and tradition caused by time, obsolescence, and
violence. The works in this series started out as 4x5 glass plate
negatives which were then smashed using a hammer and nail before being
scanned onto a computer as a jpg file with the code being manually
corrupted line by line inviting viewers to consider the impact of
erasure and suppression on our collective history.
