Info The Caloritype series is a body of work that explores the transformative nature of the creative process and the materiality of analog photography. Each piece is created in a darkroom using silver gelatine paper without the use of a camera. The process of creating the prints highlights the materiality of the medium, and the gem-like quality of each print is only revealed after it has undergone great transformations.

The final prints are then displayed in shadow boxes, with each sheet of paper being nailed to the back. The work is a reflection on the beauty that can be found through hardships and the importance of recording it on photographic paper.
